Wireless wide area networking (WWAN) using radio, satellite and mobile phone technologies can both complement and compete with more traditional systems of cable-based networking.

For some institutions, such as those in rural areas where laying cable is too expensive, wireless technology offers the only networking solution. For others, wireless wide area networking provides greater system flexibility as well as the opportunity to control costs where the equipment is owned.

Once you begin using wireless data, you'll wonder how you ever lived without it. Wireless data gives you the freedom to work from almost anywhere and gives you access to personal information when you are on the go. Whether the wireless sytem is accessing e-mail from an airport or receiving dispatch instructions as a taxi driver, you'll find it extremely effective to be able to maintain a data connection with a remote network from almost anywhere.

Avonline Broadband can supply Long Range IEEE 802.11b compliant Access Point devices for the deployment of Wireless Wide Area Networks (WWANs). Our products address the four key areas in your WWAN network: Subscriber Bandwidth Management, Advanced Networking Capabilities, Remote Infrastructure Management and, Carrier-Class Reliability.

Our high performance professional wireless Access Points have advanced features to deploy 802.11b large wireless infrastructures. They allow the delivery of high data throughput and long operating range. Better range translates directly into lower wireless infrastructure cost when the need is to cover a large area.

We also provide a variety of indoor and outdoor wireless products. These products can be used in a variety of ways – Wifi hot-spots for communities, hotels or private houses or point-to-point wireless connections to replace lease lines.

We offer products from Cisco, Smartbridge, Wavelength Solutions, D-Link and WiLAN, individually selected to meet a range of common uses – high security (128bit encryption, frequency hopping), long distance (>16Km), high quality-of-service (5.8Ghz for licensed or 2.4Ghz for unlicensed).
