Option 1 (24 month contract)
Key Terms and Conditions

  • All prices are quoted inclusive of UK VAT.
  • All hardware under lease is covered by a return to base (RTB) hardware warranty.
  • Minimum Contract Term - 24 months. Thereafter 30 days written notice is required from point of receipt of a completed Avonline Termination Request form. You can request an electronic copy at any time from broadband@avonline.co.uk. The completed form must be completed and emailed back to us at the same email address for the service termination to be initiated.
  • All customers are subject to a Fair Access Policy (FAP). For more detailed information please refer to   FAQ’s at www.avonlinebroadband.co.uk/faqs which show the latest FAP conditions.
  • All systems are PC and Mac compatible.
  • A standard installation includes the provision of one network connection up to 10m. Additional CAT5 points can usually be provided during the installation visit at £45 per point up to a distance of 10m. We would be pleased to provide a quotation for more extensive network requirements upon request.
  • A standard installation is based upon a UK mainland installation within a three hour journey to the customer premises and is subject to site survey. Customers will be provided with a site specific installation quotation in the event that additional travelling times and expenses are likely to be incurred.
  • Configuration of Customer’s existing wireless LAN or Ethernet routing equipment will be charged at £70 per hour. Under no circumstances will Avonline plc accept any responsibility or liability for the customer’s existing equipment installation, configuration or maintenance.
  • The Initial Charge (Installation & Activation), any Additional Options, the 1st Monthly Service Charge and 1st Monthly Hardware Rental Charge,(including VoIP) is payable in advance of the installation. We accept advance payment by Credit Card, BACS and bank transfer.
  • BACS or bank transfer to :-

  • All recurring charges are payable monthly in advance by direct debit. It is condition of contract that we must receive a completed Direct Debit mandate in advance of the installation.
  • Credit Card details must be provided and will be used if a Direct Debit payment is declined.
  • Any other form of settlement for monthly charges e.g. credit card will incur a handling charge of £2.50 per transaction. Any transaction requiring re-presentation e.g. declined direct debits or credit cards will incur an administration charge of £25 per instance.
  • Customers who default on more then 2 payments in any rolling 12 month period lose the right to pay by instalments and will be required to pay annually in advance with no discounts.
  • Avonline reserves the right to charge a late payment fee of 5% for all charges more than 7 days overdue.
  • Handling, Administration and Late Payment Charges incurred will be added to the next invoice.
  • Service level downgrades are charged at £25.00 per downgrade request.
  • If an order is cancelled within 21 days of the agreed installation date, 20% of the initial setup charge (includes: hardware, install and 1st month’s service/s) will be deducted from the cost.
  • Avonline has the right to recover any hardware that has been provided at anytime during the contract if your account is in arrears.
  • If this contract is cancelled by you prior to end of the Minimum Contract Term, you will immediately become liable for all outstanding recurring monthly and any other one off charges, including early termination charges, properly due to the end of the minimum contract term. You authorise Avonline plc to collect these charges using direct debit, credit card or any other payment means Avonline choose.
  • Transfer or other Offers and Incentives are subject to change without notice.

Option 2 (12 month contract)

  • All hardware is sold with 12 months return to base (RTB) hardware warranty.
  • Minimum Contract Term - 12 months. Thereafter 30 days written notice is required from point of receipt of a completed Avonline Termination Request form. When you create a shopping account while ordering online you automatically opt-in to receive information from Avonline PLC either online by post, e-mail or telephone, about products, promotions or special offers which we feel may be of interest to you. In the event that you do not wish to be contacted for such purposes, you have the option to opt out at any time.

Your Personal Information may be disclosed to other businesses within Avonline PLC. We will not release your Personal Information to any company outside of Avonline PLC for mailing or marketing purposes.

The Avonline Broadband Challenge Terms and Conditions

  1. Unless otherwise specified, promotion open to UK residents aged 18 or over except employees of Avonline plc, The Ontrac Agency Limited, SkyLogic, affiliated or subsidiary companies of Tooway, their families, agents or any other person(s) connected with the promotion.
  2. Each chosen challenger is responsible for ensuring they meet the Terms & Conditions. Avonline plc reserve the right to choose another Challenger if the Terms & Conditions cannot be met. The Challenger must have legal access to the property or land that has been nominated. Access to the challenge site must be possible, without the need for specialist skills or equipment. There must be line of site to the sky. Mains power supply is preferred but not a necessity. Avonline plc can provide a portable generator for the purpose of delivering the Challenge.
  3. Entry is free but entrants should be aware that they may be subject to local call charges depending on their own individual arrangements for Internet access.
  4. An eligible entrant must be an individual and must submit an entry in the form provided by Avonline plc.
  5. By entering, all eligible entrants agree to abide by each and all these terms and conditions. Misrepresentative or fraudulent entries will invalidate an entry. Avonline plc reserves the right, with or without cause, to exclude entrants and withhold prizes for violating any of these terms and conditions. Avonline plc reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions.
  6. Each Challenge will be chosen at the sole discretion of Avonline plc and their decision in respect of any Challenge chosen is final. One Challenge a month will be chosen up to the closing date of 29th February 2012, with the final Challenge being implemented during March 2012.
  7. All reasonable endeavours will be made to contact the chosen Challenger each month within 10 working days of relevant month end. If a Challenger cannot be contacted or is not available, Avonline plc reserves the right to choose another Challenger from the entries that were received within the previous month or months.
  8. Avonline plc reserves the right to publish all entries (including parts of entries) and publication does not necessarily mean the entrant has won a prize. Entries may be shared on Facebook, YouTube, Linkedin, Twitter and other social media sites. Only name and city will be used to identify participant.
  9. There is no cash or other alternative to the prize stated and the prize is not transferable and no part or parts of the prize may be substituted for other benefits, items or additions.If Avonline cannot demonstrate satellite broadband connectivity at the selected site then you win The Challenge. Your reward will be to receive one of each: 16GB iPad2 with Wi-Fi; an iMac 21.5” desktop computer; a Time Capsule 2TB automatic wireless backup and an iPhone 4S 16GB. Plus we will install 10MB Tooway(TM) satellite broadband at a place of your choice (permissions granted) for a whole year. If Avonline succeed in the Challenge you will receive an iPod Touch 16GB.
  10. Winners may be required to submit valid identification before receiving their prize.
  11. The Promoter’s decision is final and binding on the entrants. No correspondence will be entered into.
  12. By entering, any subsequent Challengers agree to allow the free use of their names, photographs and general locations for publicity and news purposes by Avonline plc, including filming.
  13. Uses of personal data received by Avonline plc in the course of the promotion are subject to Avonline plc’s privacy policy.
  14. Completion and submission of a Challenge entry form on AvonlineBroadband.co.uk will be deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
  15. Avonline plc reserves the right at any time to cancel, modify or supersede the Challenge (including altering prizes) if, in our sole discretion, the Challenge is not capable of being conducted as specified.
  16. By entering via our Facebook link you are acknowledging that Facebook is in no way sponsoring, endorsing, administering or is associated with this Challenge. Facebook is not liable for any loss or damage arising out of this Competition.
  17. A winners’ list will be available by sending a stamped, self addressed envelope marked Challenge Winners to the Promoter’s address after 31 March 2012.
